“He was obviously very dehydrated,” Dr Michael Anderson of the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne said.
“Doctors thought his heart was damaged and a catheter was put in to drain the fluid out.
“But after doing all that, doctors said he should die and, thankfully, he did.”
Emergency services were called to the Melbourne infant and his mother, who was rushed to the hospital for an assessment, Dr Anderson said.
“The doctor there had done a lot of surgery on him and it looked like he needed four of those (thoracic) surgery procedures,” he said.
“The emergency unit was really, really busy.”
The child, who was declared dead after surgery, was transferred to a critical care unit, where he was placed in a “grave” and received 바카라사이트intensive support from a team of four paramedics, Dr Anderson said.
The hospital would not disclose what happened to the couple’s nine-month-old son, he said.
Emergency services to take baby on overnight shift
Emergency services received several phone calls this morning about a 12-year-old boy whose mother and baby were found dead at a Flinders Street station.
It is understood a toddler was found by a walker after emergency services had called to the station at about 1am.

The couple’s baby was declared dead on arrival, but was later discharged into care.
“The man’s baby is in critical condition and it is not clear how he died,” he said.
The couple’s nine-month-old son has been discharged to the care of his father.
