Quakers hill woman dies after alleged domestic violence attack

A mother is dead after allegedly being beaten with a baseball bat before her 17-year-o우리카지노ld son pulled the trigger, authorities in California said Tuesday.

Elisa Pendergrast, 32, and her then-boyfriend, Christopher Thomas Thomas, are charged with felony murder in the death of Amanda Pendergrast, of San Rafael, Santa Barbara County sheriff’s Lt. Gary A. Leitner said.

Police told KPCC the incident happened between 4:15 p.m. Monday and 8:45 p.m. Tuesday. In court documents, authorities said Amanda was lying on her side in her bed, face up, when Thomas pulled her over about 11:15 p.m. by placing her arms over her legs.

Thomas said he was just trying to help, and the dispute began. When Thomas said he had a gun, Amanda punched him and slammed her head against the wall. She cried while she was struggling with her boyfriend, Leitner said.

Then Thomas told him she was pregnant, Leitner said. She got up from the bed, and after a few more unsuccessful attempts t바카라o push Thomas away, she hit him again in the head with a baseball bat, Leitner said.

Both he and Amanda were treated at a hospital, police said, and are expected to survive their injuries.

Thomas was charged with murder, police said.

Pendergrast, of San Rafael, was booked into Santa Barbara County Jail Tuesday, where she was being held without bail pending her preliminary hearing Thursday.
