They are at least in there trying to qualify for the World Cup in Brazil when you consider that it’s their first major tournament since 1998. I bet you they have their sights on an FA cup, even if that means making a mess of a stadium to suit them up.
I mean I understand why it is needed, but it would have probably been better for the game itself if we started with no U.S.MNT (USMNT playing a friendly), so why bother with all this nonsense?
The best they could do was a friendly against Canada. Even if we were fortunate enough to lose to them, I still think the match was worth seeing because of the potential rivalry.
